The IEEEXtreme competition was a great success, thanks to our team’s hard work and dedication. We ensured that all participating students had a comfortable and productive workspace, along with a steady supply of food and drinks to keep them energized throughout the event.
In addition, we put in a lot of effort to promote the competition beforehand, resulting in a higher turnout and making it a memorable experience for all involved.

I3E Academy was an iOS program organized by the IEEE Student branch Osijek in collaboration with faculty assistants and professors. The program consisted of six lectures for students at FERIT, where they learned how to build iOS applications. It lasted for one month, and upon completion, the students received Academy certifications.
The program aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in iOS development, enabling them to develop their own applications. The collaboration between the IEEE Student branch Osijek and the FERIT faculty assistants and professors ensured a high-quality learning experience for the participants.

IEEE Student Branch Osijek organized a Women in Engineering event on International Women’s Day to celebrate and empower women in the STEM field. The event featured keynote speakers, panel discussion, and activities aimed at inspiring and engaging participants. It was a great success, with attendees from diverse backgrounds coming together to celebrate women in technology and learn from inspiring role models.

Overall, the Women in Engineering event was a powerful testament to the importance of diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, and a powerful reminder of the immense talent and potential of women in STEM.

FERIT organized an International Students Day event focused on the importance of student organizations and being part of one. The event aimed to highlight the benefits of joining a student organization, including personal and professional development, networking opportunities, and the chance to make a positive impact on the community.

The event featured presentations and talks by established IT companies from Osijek and Zagreb, who shared their experiences and insights on the value of student organizations and student internships. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the various student organizations at FERIT, their missions, and their impact on the community, such as IEEE Student branch Osijek.

This event served as a reminder that by working together and taking an active role in our communities, we can create positive change and make a meaningful impact on the world around us.
